Magic 8 Ball
Formulate a question, touch the sphere — and gaze into the fog.

How to use the ball
Formulate the question so that it can be answered with 'yes,' 'no,' or 'uncertain.' The more specific the question, the more convincing the answer looks. Click 'Ask the ball' — the mist will swirl, and after a few seconds, one of the twenty classic phrases will appear in the window.
You don't have to write a question: the ball will respond even to your mood. And if you don't like the answer, ask the question again. Each launch is independent: the ball does not 'remember' past answers and does not try to surprise you.
What is this anyway?
Magic 8-Ball is a toy from 1946, visually similar to an 8-ball in billiards. Inside floats an icosahedron with twenty faces, each containing a short answer. The ball is shaken and then turned with the window facing down, and one of the faces rises to the glass. Here, it's the same thing, only instead of liquid — animation, and instead of an icosahedron — a cryptographic random number generator.
Twenty answers
The set has remained unchanged since the mid-20th century: ten positive answers, five evasive ones, and five negative ones. It is this proportion that makes the ball simultaneously encouraging and tricky.
Is it worth trusting the answer
No — and that's the whole point. The ball rolls the die, it doesn't read the future: its answer is not a prediction, advice, or recommendation. However, it is great for formulating a question, looking at a situation from another perspective, or simply lightening the mood in a company.
If you are leaning towards a decision and want to hear 'yes' — consider it a hint of your own desire, not a prophecy. The answers of the ball are not related to money, bets, or gambling: it is an entertainment tool.
